In 2014, Rudy Farr-Leander co-founded and designed a fashtech start-up marketplace where shopping and chatting could be combined. The experience allowed users to view and discuss the same item in realtime via a right side panel. Coupled with instant messaging, a user was able to open a live video chat with multiple friends. The vision was to create a space where friends could shop, socialise and share items. Built on EPi Server as a multi-brand affiliate publisher site, it was an ambitious, visionary new concept. Although the site was built and functional for Beta testing, unfortunately it was not officially launched due to further funding complications.
